Outdoor Farm to Table Dinner & Concert

5:30 PM- 9:00 PM - Tickets on sale in June

The highlight of the day is our casual outdoor dinner and concert. Indulge in a mouth-watering meal featuring fresh, local ingredients. The cash bar includes and eclectic selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Our talented local musicians are sure to get your toes tapping and your heart singing. Tying the evening together, our MC shares stories about this agricultural community, our producers, and a bit of history. It's the perfect way to spend a summer evening with friends and family.

Keep an eye on our Rural Roots Farmer Showcase Facebook page as we announce details.

How THE Dinner & Concert works

This is an outdoor event- rain or shine! Alberta weather changes quickly, so a jacket, bug spray, and an umbrella may be needed. We have a nearby community hall booked in the event of rain.

Dinner spots are first come first served, there is ample lawn space. A limited number of picnic tables are available.  To reserve a picnic table, please email PeggBotanicGarden@gmail.com

Please bring your own portable dining setup (table & chairs or blanket), cutlery, and glassware (wine, spirits, beer, water, and coffee cup depending on your drink preferences).

We invite you to get creative and dress up your outdoor dining space! Table cloths, centerpieces, flower bouquets, and creative place settings are all welcome and encouraged.

2024 theme & best decorated table prize TBA

Call to voLUNTEERS

We are seeking volunteers to be a part of this fun, exciting, beautiful event. Any amount of time you can offer is valuable. We suggest volunteers sign up for a three-hour shift in the morning, afternoon, or evening - food and beverages are included. (Yes - dinner volunteers get to taste-test the meal!) Time slots are flexible - tell us what works for you. Tasks include market set up, guest greeter, floaters, dinner set up, food service, and security.

For more information about how to volunteer please contact Shelley at shelleylockhart@gmail.com. We look forward to meeting new people in our communities.
